Raja Shehadeh is a Palestinian-Jordanian lawyer, writer, and human rights activist. He is the founder of the Al-Haq human rights organization, and he has written extensively about the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Shehadeh is a recipient of the Bruno Kreisky Prize for Human Rights and the Olof Palme Prize.
