Here are some of the things I learned at the coding bootcamp:

  • Data structures: Data structures are used to store and organize data. I learned about arrays, linked lists, stacks, and queues.
  • Algorithms: Algorithms are used to solve problems. I learned about sorting algorithms, searching algorithms, and dynamic programming.
  • Object-oriented programming: Object-oriented programming is a programming paradigm that uses objects and classes. I learned about encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.
  • Web development: I learned about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also learned about frameworks like React and Node.js.
  • Mobile development: I learned about iOS and Android development. I also learned about frameworks like Swift and Kotlin.

Here are some of the projects I built at the coding bootcamp:

  • A website that allows users to create and share recipes
  • A mobile app that helps users find restaurants and make reservations
  • A game that uses artificial intelligence to generate levels

Here are some of the tips I have for people who are considering a coding bootcamp:

  • Do your research: There are a lot of different coding bootcamps out there. Take the time to research and find a bootcamp that's a good fit for you.
  • Make sure you're prepared: Coding bootcamps are intensive. Make sure you're prepared to work hard and learn a lot of new information.
  • Network with other students: Coding bootcamps are a great way to meet other people who are interested in tech. Network with other students and learn from their experiences.
  • Don't give up: Coding bootcamps are hard. There will be times when you want to give up. But don't give up. Keep working hard and you will succeed.

Coding bootcamps are a great way to learn the skills you need to get a job in tech. If you're thinking about making a career change, I encourage you to consider a coding bootcamp.
